Terms and Conditions of Business 
 
Payment 
Payment can be made by cheque.I ask for a 30% non returnable deposit on booking. (see cancellations for details) 
I request that the balance of payment is made 14 days prior to your booking. 
Bookings made with less than 14 days to commencement, I request payment in full at the time of booking.. 
 
Bookings 
When a booking is made it is on the understanding that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions of business. 
All bookings will be confirmed by Email. 
 
Cancellations 
If a coach makes the decision to cancel a coaching or guiding session due to extreme weather conditions beyond their control, for example very high winds making casting dangerous, or water conditions/levels on rivers in spate, or for any other reason; then a full refund will be given or an alternate date offered, whichever is acceptable to the client. 
If a client wishes to cancel a booking a minimum of seven days notice needs to be given by letter or email. A refund will then be given less deposit, or an alternate date offered. 
If less than seven days notice is given then no alternate date or refund will be offered. 
Any rearranged bookings after a cancellation must take place within a ten month period. No refunds will be given after this time. 
If catering or other arrangements have been made for a client's booking which has resulted in costs to DCFF, and that booking is cancelled then those costs will still be chargeable. 
 
Liability 
When a refund is given due to cancellation by a coach, the liability will only extend to the value of the coaching or guiding session cancelled. 
The information on this website is reviewed and kept up to date on a regular basis, however, some changes may occur. No liability can be accepted for any errors, omissions, or deletions. 
 
Health & Safety 
Your safety and that of all other members of the party is always our primary concern. 
A risk assesment is carried out for every guiding/coaching session. 
If a client does not adhere to the safety instuctions given or fails to wear safety equipment provided and puts themself or other people at risk they will be asked to leave the session. The contract will be terminated and No refund will be applicable in these circumstances. 
If a client in the opinion of the coach behaves in an abusive or inappropriate manner, OR is not fit to participate due to the effects of alcohol, drugs, medication, the session will end, the contract will be terminated and No refund will be given. 
If a client has a medical condition which may be a factor or is relevant to the activities that will be undertaken when fly fishing, it must be disclosed. It must be notified to the guide prior to the confirmation of your booking. For example heart condition, respiratory/asthma, sight or hearing deficencies, allergies, mobility difficulties, learning difficulties. 
If you are on medication this needs to be disclosed. 
We take our responsibility for your wellbeing very seriously, and in the event of an emergency we need to be well informed in order to act correctly. 
 
The Law 
The contract between you and the coach is subject to English law and no other. It is agreed that any dispute that you may have will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case proceedings may be brought in the courts of these countries. 
 
Your Rights 
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained within these Conditions.
